Introversion is "the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantly concerned with and interested in one's own mental life". Introverts are easily overwhelmed by too much stimulation from social gatherings and engagement. They are more analytical before speaking.Introversion is not the same as shyness. Being with people, even people they like and are comfortable with, can prevent them from their desire to be quietly introspective. Being introspective, though, does not mean that an introvert never has conversations. However, those conversations are generally about ideas and concepts, not about what they consider the trivial matters of social small talk. First, recognize that it's not a choice. It's not a lifestyle. It's an orientation.



- I couldnt agree with this more, Ive felt this way for as long as I could remember, without ever having my own words to describe this concept. Always wanting to see the fruition of creativity in general or concentrating on the inner world of the mind, blue printing everything. I constantly have thoughts always running through my mind in detail of not how things are, but how they should be or atleast how I want to view the perceptions of the world im in. Being over-analytic in conversations all the time to the point I just have to avoid them and the people of the conversations that seem so void. Always trying to think deeper rather than bigger for the sake of gaining wisdom, knowledge and understanding. People sometimes say Im to hard to get to know because of either how quiet I am or how I may stand off. Its good for me that way.

During the first launch of Clae in 2001, you didn’t have many peers at the independent shoe level. I know that I personally need shoes that are versatile, that can carry you from day to night without sacrificing style or comfort. Clae is here to address the changing times of menswear, I think Clae is where footwear is going for this generation and beyond.

Alot has happened since the last time ive posted on here. Ive just been too lazy to blog on a basis. Recently though the [F!] skate crew has been hitting the Campo spot in norfolk for the past couple of days, including myself, being able to re-learn most of my flip tricks. Campo might even be on schedule for today if the weather gets any better, I need to remember to bring a broom out there. I also need to re-up on our Spring stock, the orange VA pattern shirts were on sale for 50% off and it cleared that shipment so that means more goods underway. Supposively the the most dangerous drug in the world also known as Devils Breath brought to light courtesy of WWW.VBSTV.COM and VICE MAGAZINE.

"The original plan was for me to sample the drug myself to really get an idea of the effect it had on folks. The producer and camera man had flew down to Bogota ahead of me to confirm some meetings and start laying down the groundwork. By the time I arrived a few days later, things had changed dramatically. Their first few days in the country had apparently been such a harrowing montage of freaked-out dealers and unimaginable horror stories about Scopolamine that we decided I was absolutely not going to be doing the drug. All elements of humor and novelty were rapidly stripped away during my first few days in town. After meeting only a couple people with firsthand experience, the story took a far darker turn than we ever could have imagined and the Scopolamine pranks I had originally imagined pulling on my friends seemed beyond naive and absurd. By the time we were wrapping things up and preparing to leave the country, I couldn't wait to get as far away from Colombia and that drug as possible. Apologies for a fleeting moment of sincerity, but looking back, I'm pretty proud of the work we did down there. This story, and the people who tell it, truly deserve to be heard."

Havent posted in about a week. This wont be long, just letting those know that I'm still alive. Weve been working on our Royale shipment for the 12th. That should be a clean shirt to drop for spring. Following that is going to be the release of a couple traditional crew sweaters and 2 v-neck designs. Stay tuned.

- The speculation of what is going to happen in the year 2012 is too vast and assorted for anyone to prophesize and believe a single idea for that event. Having said that, nobody knows what is to happen when the time comes. The movie 2012 is based on the Meso-American Long count calendar which is a non-repeating, vigesimal (base-20) calendar used by several Mesoamerican cultures, most notably the Maya. I understand there is Philosophy in numbers and evidence in astrology but to say a pardigm shift or physical universe alignment will start the end of the world is beyond my ability to reason, signs of time?
