AMY GOODMANS ARREST AT THE RNC





Three members of the Democracy Now, a daily TV/radio news program airing on over 700 stations, pioneering the largest community media collaboration in the U.S, were arrested last night in St. Paul during the Republican national convention. The media staff, Amy Goodman, Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar were taken in custody by the Minneapolis Police Department. Charged with conspiracy to riot. Goodman and her media team were arrested while trying to cover police movements on the streets outside the studios where they set up during the Republican National Convention. The two producers were handcuffed put in jail and charged with felony riot charges Goodman, trying to find out what happened to her people, was arrested and charged with obstruction and interference.They were only part of the 284 people arrested on the streets of St. Paul Monday by police that have been criticized with going overboard by protesters and local officials.Type in "Amy Goodman Arrest" as search criteria on youtube.com for additional footage.
